Resolving 502 Maximum Connections Exceeded Error

Why am I seeing this error?

When your newsreader attempts to establish more connections than permitted, a "502 Maximum Connections Exceeded" error may occur. This situation can often be resolved by closing unnecessary connections and adjusting your newsreader's maximum connection settings to align with the limits specified in your account. To close excess connections, cancel the ongoing task and allow the current processes to complete. If your newsreader closes unexpectedly, the server might require additional time to recognize the termination of the previous connection.

How many connections are allowed?

All UsenetServer plans come with up to 20 SSL-protected connections. We recommend experimenting with the number of connections to optimize your speeds.
