Adding and Prioritizing Servers in Newsbin

UsenetServer users can follow these steps to configure Newsbin and optimize how servers are selected during use.

How to Add UsenetServer

  1. Start Newsbin.

  2. Head to Options > Servers.

 

  1. Choose New Server.

 

  1. Name it (e.g., UsenetServer).

 

  1. Input server address (e.g., news.usenetserver.com), port 563, and your login info.

  2. Turn on SSL and set the correct number of connections.

  3. Click OK to complete.

Manage Server Priority

  1. From the server list, find the Priority column.

  2. Lower numbers mean higher priority.

 

  1. Position UsenetServer appropriately based on usage needs
