Can the Pre-Authorization Be Removed Sooner?

When signing up for UsenetServer, a temporary pre-authorization hold is placed on the payment method to verify that it is valid. This is a standard step for Usenet accounts.

Most banks automatically remove this hold after a short period, often within 5 to 7 business days, though the timeframe may vary depending on the financial institution.

If the hold is still showing on the account and needs to be removed sooner, contacting the bank or card issuer is the most direct option. They may be able to release the hold manually upon request.

UsenetServer does not have access to release pre-authorization holds once they are placed, as this is handled entirely by the issuing bank.
