Article retention refers to the length of time we store articles. An article posted today will stay on our servers for the length of our article retention period, then drop off and no longer be available once that article is older than the current article retention. We have over 900 Terabytes of storage for articles and growing. As Usenet grows, we add more storage to ensure that you get the best and longest article retention possible.

As of June 1, 2023, we have 5403 days of article retention. Every day that passes, our article retention grows by one day. You can see the official count on our homepage.
