Verify Hostname and Port

Double-check your configuration. Use news.usenetserver.com and port 563 for secure access or port 119 for unencrypted.

Try an Additional Server Entry

Create a duplicate configuration. If the issue persists, it may be caused by something on your network.

Review Your Firewall Settings

A firewall might be interfering with the connection. Temporarily disable it, try again, and then reactivate it.
