NZBGet Cipher & Controls Overview

UsenetServer subscribers can tune NZBGet for greater efficiency. With the right cipher and command knowledge, users gain speed and precision.

Cipher Setting Tips

Use ServerX.Cipher for manual control:

  • OpenSSL examples: RC4-MD5, AES128-SHA

  • GnuTLS: NONE:+VERS-TLS-ALL:+ARCFOUR-128:+RSA:+MD5:+COMP-ALL

Speed Testing

Run:

openssl speed

Compare encryption types and hash algorithms to select the fastest combo.

Keyboard Navigation

Key functions include:

  • Shift+H, M, D, S, P, L, F, C – Tab and search control

  • Queue: A, E, P, R, T

  • History: P, M, B, G, F, H

  • Messages: I, T, E, A, W

Terminal & Console Features

  • Start: nzbget -s, -D

  • Stop: -Q

  • Manage Queue: -A, -L, -E

  • Output Modes: log, color, curses
