How to Maintain Your SABnzbd Setup with UsenetServer

Backing up your SABnzbd configuration helps maintain your UsenetServer access, integrations, and queue without starting over.


Where to Look

  • Windows: C:\Users\[Name]\AppData\Local\sabnzbd

  • macOS: /Users/[Name]/Library/Application Support/SABnzbd

  • Linux: ~/.sabnzbd

Close SABnzbd completely, then copy the full folder to another location.


What's Included

This folder contains:

  • UsenetServer address and ports

  • Authentication settings

  • Connection caps and behavior

  • Indexer lists and API keys

  • Active queue and history


Restoring to a New Setup

  1. Install SABnzbd

  2. Run once and close

  3. Replace the default folder with the saved version

  4. Relaunch and verify UsenetServer preferences are intact
