Possible Reasons for Login Failure

Incorrect Username or Password

Double-check that your login credentials are correct. Avoid using copy-paste, as this can introduce extra spaces or characters. Instead, manually type both your username and password.

Inactive Account

An expired or canceled subscription may result in authentication issues. Visit the Tweaknews member area to confirm your account is still active.

Incorrect Newsreader Configuration

Some newsreader applications may not pass updated credentials correctly. Re-enter your login information in the application settings.

Incorrect Server Address or Port

Make sure the server settings in your newsreader are accurate:

  • Server: news.tweaknews.eu

  • Port (SSL): 563

  • Port (Non-SSL): 119

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Re-enter Login Credentials
Manually input your Tweaknews username and password. Avoid autofill or password managers while troubleshooting.
